Ford has now released the performance edition of the Mach-E, the Mustang Mach-E GT. The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Performance model has 480 horsepower, 634 lb-ft of torque, and goes 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. Oh, and it’s electric. Literally and physically. On top of the three standard driver modes, the GT models will feature an Unbridled Extend mode intended to be used on a closed course track. Unbridled Extend mode balances the power output for consistent lap times. The Ford Mach-E has earned the right to bear a GT badge. The impressive amount of torque produced by the Mach-E GT might have you re-thinking the laws of gravity as you know them. The Mach-E GT has a range between 235 and 250 miles making it the farthest of the standard range Mach-E’s.

Differences Between the Mustang Mach-E and Mach-E GT
Other than the added power and torque, the GT model also adds unique features to the GT that aren’t seen in other models. Let’s start with the grille, it has a carbonized Gray grille to give it more depth. The front Mustang pony logo on the grille also illuminates at night which is pretty cool. GT badging can be found around the exterior. The front splitter sticks out a couple more inches for a more aggressive look. The grille has active shutters and air curtains that wrap around the GT. Taking a look at the wheels you’ll notice that the GT has 20-inch wheels with a new pin spoke design and high-gloss Ebony Black paint and the tires are also an inch wider for increased traction. Peeking from inside the wheels are the red-painted Brembo 4-caliper brakes. The front disc brakes are a massive 19-inches. The Mach-E GT has a MagneRide Damping System for improved handling and also lowers the Mach-E GT 10mm compared to other Mach-E models. To enhance its slightly lower stance, Ford added gloss black trim to the GT so it would appear lower than a standard Mach-E. Additional features of the Mustang Mach-E GT include black-painted side mirrors, a hands-free foot-activated power liftgate, and pony projection lamps. The GT’s will have Ford Performance seats for the driver and passenger seats. It will have the full suite of Ford Co-Pilot360 2.0 except for the active park assist 2.0, BlueCruise, and a 360-degree camera with split-view, this will be optional. The inside of the Mustang Mach-E GT features ambient lighting that changes depending on the drive mode you are in. The Mach-E GT has a crisp and clear sound system thanks to Bang & Olufsen with 9 total speakers and a subwoofer.
